A quick tap of the bumper allows the player to swing from building to building, doing awesome. Your hero pummels foes on the ground, along the facades of skyscrapers and even in mid-air. Unlike recent Spider-Man titles which focus on open-world action, Web of Shadows emphasizes combat. New York City has been invaded by an alien symbiote infecting citizens, and it's up to Spider-Man to thwart it. The game opens with Spider-Man on a perquisition for Mary Jane Watson. The game was released on Octofor Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 2, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, and Wii. While the combat is often exhiliarating, the adventure feels very one-dimensional.
